This policy explains which personal data we process when you use this website and contact us.
1. Controller
The controller within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is encircle360 GmbH, Petersbergstraße 72, 51375 Leverkusen, Germany, email hello@encircle360.com, phone +49 214 736999-80. Biberstack is a brand of encircle360 GmbH.
2. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted on servers in Germany that we operate. When you access it, your browser automatically transmits technical information that is processed in server log files: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. We process this data to deliver the website and to ensure its security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for these purposes.
3. Requests by email and via the request form
The request form does not transmit any data to us by itself. When you submit it, your email program opens with your entries pre-filled. Only when you send that email do we receive your details. We process them to answer your request and to prepare an offer. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual measures and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for general enquiries. We store your request as long as necessary to handle it and in accordance with statutory retention periods.
4. Statistics with Umami
To measure reach we use Umami, an open-source analytics solution that we operate on our own servers. The scripts and requests run via the domain of this website. Umami does not set cookies and does not store information on your device. IP addresses are not stored; visits are aggregated using a daily changing hash that cannot be reversed. The data is not combined with other data or passed on to third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in a statistical analysis of the use of this website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can object at any time by switching off "Statistics and session recording" in the cookie settings (link in the footer).
5. Session recordings and heatmaps
If you consent in the cookie banner, we additionally record sessions and heatmaps (mouse movements, scrolling, clicks) to understand and improve the usability of this website. This data is also processed exclusively on our own servers and not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future in the cookie settings.
6. Storage in your browser
We store your choice from the cookie banner in the local storage of your browser so that the banner does not appear on every visit. Your choice of light or dark mode is also stored there. This storage is strictly necessary for the function you requested (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). Fonts and all other resources of this website are delivered from our own infrastructure; no content is loaded from third-party servers.
7. Recipients
We do not pass your data on to third parties unless this is necessary to handle your request or we are legally obliged to do so.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@encircle360.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia.
9. Encryption
This website uses TLS encryption to protect the transmission of content.
